I’ve always been deeply inspired by Lebanese - American Kahlil Gibran — a writer, poet, and philosopher whose timeless words continue to resonate across generations. His masterpiece, The Prophet, is among the most translated books in history, reaching readers in more than 100 languages and standing as one of the best-selling books of all time. Gibran spent part of his life in Greenwich, New York, where he wrote The Prophet, yet his roots remained firmly planted in Lebanon. I was fortunate to visit his home in Bsharri, now a museum, which gave me an even greater connection to his legacy.

His words about passion, rebirth, and the phoenix feel especially meaningful as we introduce the story behind our Golden Phoenix charm.

The Paper Plane

In 2017, I launched one of my very first pieces; the paper plane charm. Before it became the phoenix, it was a paper plane. A symbol of lightness, curiosity, and motion designed as a nod to moments that shaped my journey and reminded me that movement is growth.

The Phoenix: A New Chapter

Life doesn’t move in straight lines. We fall, we rise, we evolve. And after every ending, there’s the opportunity for a beginning just like the story of Rebel.

When I relaunched after a long pause, I wanted to keep the piece that spoke to that cycle. That’s when the Paper Plane took new form — transforming into The Golden Phoenix.

The Golden Phoenix quickly became one of our best selling pieces and a charm that many of you relate to.

One Design, Many Stories

Soon after in 2023, the Love Letter version appeared, adding a romantic twist with an enamel heart in red or black. And most recently in 2025, the pavé diamond edition brought a touch of sparkle and luxury.

Inspired by the Golden Phoenix, the paper we used to fold into planes as children, and the moments we want to hold on to, The Notebook in mother of pearl enamel and gold and the Be Present Charm in red or black enamel with gold were born.

This journey proves that one design can be reimagined in endless ways — each version carrying the same spirit but telling its own story.
